A little bit about Brookside…

The community centre is a thriving hub for social activity on the estate! it connects people from across Brookside, who have gained lifelong friendships and boosted their confidence.

We are a registered charity and our main aim is to “to further benefit the residents of Brookside, Stirchley, Telford, Shropshire and the neighbourhood, without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or of political, religious, or other opinions by associating together the said residents and the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in an common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and leisure time with the objective of improving the conditions of life for the residents.”

The centre is home to some amazing organisations as well including Brookside Big Local, Brookside Community Preschool, The Job Box Telford, Recharge Telford, Stirchley and Brookside Youth Provision, Severn Training and Schools Academy and many other community groups.
